welcoming in autumn
It's a funny thing, seasons.
You're doing the usual grind of work, or going from between different places, you get caught up in all of it, that sometimes you don't take a little minute to appreciate seasonal differences.
Most of the time, at least for myself, the weather isn't all that great here on a daily basis. Especially when it comes close to the end of year. Sometimes it all just blends together because of that.
The slow colour change to yellow or orange of the leaves from those big tree patches that you always pass when walking in your neighbourhood becomes more apparent each day. The increasing amount of leaves on the floor, giving a very satisfying crunch when walking on it. Brushing off the winter-adjacent clothing. The tea-bags are in full swing again!
Autumn makes its presence! And I'm very happy to see it.
