small discoveries in life
It's quite bizarre to say that in my 24 years on this planet, I only recently discovered that you can buy rechargeable batteries?! I always thought those things were fictional, a made up concept that people from the year 1858 could only dream to use on a daily basis! But here I have, in my possession, 4x AA batteries, along with 2x AAA batteries. No more having to buy a 12-pack of disposable batteries from a local shop that rhymes with groundland, just a one-time purchase of rechargeable batteries with a branded charger, and you're off! And no more awkward encounters about where I dispose the batteries to in my local Tesco. That was an experience.
What a wild world we live in. I love little things like this.
